Live illustration is a fun and personal experience at your wedding and captures sketches of your guests and special moments from your day. Live guest illustrations make wonderful, unique favours and are sure to be a treasured reminder of your special day!
Why have a live illustrator?
Having a live illustrator at your wedding or event is sure to be a talking point! I hand-draw and paint sweet sketched portraits of your guests, which they can take away at the end of the event as a special memento of your beautiful day.
How does it work?
Your guests pop over to me for a quick photo. They can then go off and socialise while I sketch their portrait using the photo I took as a reference. I create their illustration by using ink and watercolour paint on professional-quality watercolour paper. I finish the portrait with a protective cellophane sleeve, attached to a backing card which can be personalised to your wedding theme. Guests can pop back later to see how I'm doing and pick up their finished portrait!
About Me
My name is Leela Taylor and I'm a professional illustrator who finds joy in drawing people who are celebrating happy occasions! My background is in children's illustration, where I developed my sweet, whimsical style. I love seeing people's reactions when they see their finished illustration.

I know what goes into planning a wedding. It's one of the most important days of your life, and choosing wonderful suppliers who will enhance your day is crucial! I am reliable, professional, friendly and approachable, and I aim to provide a smooth, stress-free experience.

I am based in Guisborough, adjacent to both North Yorkshire and Teesside. Travel within a 20 mile radius of my home is included in my prices, although I am happy to travel further afield.
